How to Play Movie MisQuotes
PLAYING MOVIE MISQUOTES
Game Play is simple, flexible, and fun. Decide who will be the first Reader. The Player to their left guesses first.
Each card has 3 out of the 6 categories listed in random order. The Player picks a number from 1 to 3, and the Reader reads the selected category and MisQuote.
If the Player does not guess the original quote and movie on the first try, the person to their left gets a chance to guess correctly, and so on.
If it comes back to the initial Player, they pick a different number (1-3). The Reader reads the new category and MisQuote, and the Players have another chance to guess the original quote and movie. If no one knows the answer, the reader can reveal the answer, if desired, and discard the card.
WINNING
When a Player correctly guesses the original quote and movie, they win the card.
Collect the most cards to win the game! You pick the number of cards needed to win, or blow through the whole deck in one sitting—then gather some new friends to play again and again!
CHALLENGE YOURSELF
For a more competitive game, or as a tie breaker, players can also guess the character and/or actor quoted.
